Information submitted

The inquiry form collects the name, email address, organization, audience category, inquiry type, and message a visitor chooses to provide. It also sends the fixed Civic-only scope attestation, form version, and coarse form-start time used for boundary enforcement, delivery integrity, and abuse screening. Do not submit privileged, confidential, classified, regulated, financial-account, health, or sensitive personal records.

Campaign attribution

The site stores limited first-touch and last-touch attribution in browser local storage for up to 90 days. This release has no approved inbound Civic campaign tuple, so every inbound UTM source, medium, campaign, term, and content value is discarded. The record may include a direct or external-referrer-derived source; the referring site origin only; the path where a visit first or last entered the site; the separate conversion path; and capture time. Referrer paths, queries, fragments, credentials, advertising click IDs, and unapproved campaign values are not retained. A future Civic campaign would require a separately reviewed, versioned full-tuple and landing-path registry before its UTM values could be retained.

Attribution is attached to an inquiry so Civic Bitcoin can identify how a request reached the site, enforce the inquiry boundary, and assess campaign performance. Civic Bitcoin does not use this record for third-party behavioral advertising and does not sell it. Blocking or clearing local storage removes the browser copy; the inquiry form remains usable without attribution.

Site analytics

This release includes the official Vercel Web Analytics component. If Web Analytics is enabled for the hosting project and its production loader sends an event, Vercel may process page-view and routine browser or request metadata for aggregate site measurement. This integration is separate from the first- and last-touch inquiry attribution described above. No custom analytics event or inquiry-content field is configured in this release.

The presence of the component does not prove that measurement is operational. Civic Bitcoin will treat analytics as active only after the project setting is enabled and both the production loader and a live event are observed. Until then, operational analytics remains a deployment-owner hold.

How information is used

Information is used to review and respond to an allowed framework, source, correction, press, educational, or general inquiry; understand campaign source; protect the service; and maintain necessary correspondence. Submission does not create an engagement, fiduciary duty, procurement relationship, or duty of confidentiality.

Providers and technical records

Hosting and email-delivery providers may process inquiry information and routine technical records needed to deliver and secure the site. Abuse controls temporarily use one-way digests derived from network address and email values within an individual warm application instance. The site does not claim a durable, cross-instance rate limit.

Retention and requests

Inquiry information may be retained for correspondence, security, recordkeeping, campaign measurement, and legal purposes. Use the contact form to request access, correction, or deletion; identity verification and applicable retention requirements may limit a request.
