Mining integrated with HVAC and mechanical systems

Pre-feasibility screening of proof-of-work equipment as a controllable heat source and interruptible load within a building's energy and mechanical concept. Detailed design belongs to qualified engineers.

Waste-heat reuse and recovery

Testing whether metered thermal output can serve a real, grade-matched load such as domestic hot water, space heating, process loads, or pools after equipment and operating costs.

District energy and thermal applications

Evaluating a shared thermal network only where mapped buildings, pipe routes, demand profiles, storage, ownership, and qualified engineering establish feasibility.

Stranded and curtailed energy

Testing same-node, same-interval evidence that output would otherwise be curtailed or uneconomic before treating flexible computing as a controllable, sheddable load.

Screening continuity claims against tested islanding, backup, dispatch, and critical-load delivery. Shedding a computing load alone does not prove resilience.

No proof-of-work shortcut

Proof of work receives no automatic sustainability, resilience, grid, emissions, or public-benefit credit. A local proposal must clear the municipal gate and remain a no-go where the record cannot support its costs, counterfactual, and enforceable performance.

Declared framework, not local fact. Lowery presents a novel theory. It is not empirical proof that Bitcoin eliminates violence, lowers land prices, improves affordability, benefits a specific electric grid, or produces a local public benefit. Civic Bitcoin has not published a verified local finding that Bitcoin reduces land prices, improves housing affordability, lowers conflict, strengthens a specific grid, or creates a municipal resilience benefit in Southwest Florida.
